Fish Fingers
Ingredients
2-3 fish fillets (cut into finger thick strips)
2 cups vegetable oil
2 cups Hinds Lemon and Herb Southern Style Coating
2 cups bread crumbs
1 cup flour
2 eggs (for egg wash)
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Mix Hinds Lemon and Herb southern style coating and bread crumbs in separate tray
Mix flour with salt and pepper in separate tray
Mix two eggs to create egg wash
Meanwhile heat oil in sauce pan to medium high heat
Coat fish fingers in seasoned flour
Dunk into egg wash making sure to shake off excess egg wash
Coat all fish fingers into bread crumb and Hinds coating mix, shake off excess crumbs
Place a few fish fingers at a time in hot oil and deep fry pieces until golden brown and crispy
Enjoy with French fries in Hinds Chip Spice or Salt and Vinegar Spice, with a crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
