Grilled Turmeric Chicken


Chicken pieces

8 garlic cloves , crushed

2 1/2 tbsp fish sauce

2 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tsp white pepper , ground

1 1/2 tbsp ground coriander

1 tbsp Hinds Turmeric

¼ cup brown sugar


Combine Marinade ingredients in a bowl.

Add chicken and coat thoroughly in Marinade. Marinade for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat oven to 180C. If you remember, take chicken out of the fridge and bring to room temperature.

Braai or bake till well done.  (If baking and you feel its browning too quickly,  cover loosely with foil)
