Mini Trifles

Ingredients

Custard

Madeira Cake

Jelly

Tinned cocktail fruit

Fresh Cream

Cadbury Milk Chocolate

Blueberries, strawberries or peaches for garnish

Method

Prepare custard as per usual set aside and let cool then refrigerate

For the cake we bought Madeira, you can use any cake as long as you remove frosting or icing from it.

Prepare jelly and set aside to cool, when the jelly is cool and still in liquid form pour halfway into glasses,slice the cake into cubes and place into the jelly.

Wait for cake to sink to the bottom of glass and place into the fridge to set overnight

Scoop spoonfuls of custard into the glasses

Then add cocktail fruit mixture on top of the custard

Whip up the cream to soft peaks and scoop on top of the cocktail fruits

Grate chocolate over whipped cream

Garnish with blueberries, strawberries or peaches, return to the fridge for another 45mins then enjoy!
